Thorns 2
11" x 17" Soft Pastel
"Thorns" is a simple ink sketch done in the early 1980's on a scrap of paper, and made into an 18" x 24" pastel painting in 1985, it was donated to the pastor of our local church, in appreciation for his service.
"Thorns 2" was complete and set aside after the photo session. The sun light from the window created the lighting effect which I used to finish it.
